Panic Disorders: Some Significant Facts

Panic disorder, a type of anxiety disorder is accompanied by panic attacks of high degree. It brings about changes in the behavior that can last for a month or so. Besides, it also leads to the concerns of further attacks. Many people confuse agoraphobia for panic disorder. However, this is a wrong notion. Generally, panic disorder manifests itself in the form of anxiety that can be very severe. Normally, it lasts for about 10 minutes. However, it can also last for an even shorter period of time. In such cases, the specific symptoms may vary upon the duration.  Certain common symptoms of the disorder are faster heartbeat, profuse sweating, dizziness, shivering, a state of perpetual fear and hyperventilation.
